Work Package 9 - WP9

INFECT is composed of a team of multidisciplinary researchers, clinicians, SMEs and a patient organization, each with a unique expertise, technical platform and/or model systems that together have the means to successfully conduct the research proposed.
There are in total 14 partners from 11 different countries that work together to achieve the goals set forth in the 7 distinct, highly interrelated, scientific WPs. All necessary actions are taken to facilitate collaboration, enhance exchange of information, promote synergies between project components, and enable joint efforts involving different competences and technologies. WP9 ensures that this is achieved by providing structures and tools to achieve this. The main task of WP9 is to maintain a functional project management structures with efficient communication flow. This involves the responsibility of efficient dissemination of information between partners and the management role in ensuring a long-term sustainability. The Project Coordinator together with a management support team, the Project Steering Committee and the Executive Committee has central management roles and responsibilities in INFECT.
